Media and Information Literacy

Media is considered as the channel used to communicate to a large audience.

The media has become an important part of people’s lives, particularly in communication. Media exposure can often lead to several changes in how people act or interact in society. This high degree of exposure to media and communication comes with challenges in the consumption of media. How does a person distinguish the useful sources of information from the useless ones? Is all information that can be obtained through media useful and true? And since almost everyone has now become a source of information through social media, how can you ensure truthfulness in your construction of information?
